 Definitions:

 Roles define who we are.
We get responsibilites and authority from each role.
Roles are the basis for our mission in life.

Processes are the steps we take to accomplish
objectives. We apply our knowledge and skills on processes.
A process describes the chain of specific events
which produce deliverables (create
tangible products or offer
intangible services).
An example is the phases in Work and Purchasing processes.
Resources are the basis for quantitative (numerical)
goals we work to achieve (such as improvement of our assets).

Traits are the quality of character
(values)
which we want to exhibit.
